Can't help but wonder if that technically is pass interference by Clark, just nail the guy in coverage, looking like 3 yards down field... close enough it didn't get called, still kinda feel bad for the WR on that one, your not expecting a wham block from a NT lol

That's probably why it worked so well. You've been getting open on short stuff all game only to get bodied by a NT dropping back into coverage

PI? No the ball wasn't thrown to Jefferson. Illegal chuck would be the only thing I can think of but since they were still less than 5 yards from the LOS that wouldn't apply either.

Something that I feel needs to be said. The officials let them play. Only one call I felt was wrong. I hope this continues.

Is it 5 yards? For some reason I was thinking it was 2 yards...

Maybe the 2 yards is the OL aren't allowed to be 2 yards down field on pass plays? But they're allowed one yard as accidental...

Out of curiosity I looked it up. Rules change so often.

Quote:

Within the area five yards beyond the line of scrimmage, a defensive player may chuck an eligible receiver in front of him. The defender is allowed to maintain continuous and unbroken contact within the five-yard zone, so long as the receiver has not moved beyond a point that is even with the defender.

The NFL only gives offensive linemen one yard downfield before a pass.

I thought J Williams helped get the running game going. Dillion had a 9 yard run before Williams took a handoff. Other than that Jones and Dillion's carries were only 2,3,3 and -1. (Plus the 9 yard run.) Afterward Williams ran for 3,6 and 8 yards things seemed to go better. He got 6 first downs in the game.

My favourite play from this game was the Jenkins/Donald exchange & flag. Injury or not, watching Jenkins dominate that exchange, not be bowed and also...keep his (relative) cool was satisfying, galvanising.

Tone setting - The AllWorld first ballot HoF game wrecker losing his cool, and the Packers line sans Bakhtiari dominating end to end. Love it!

That’s true! Just look how huge that penalty turned out to be!
Hopefully our guys will continue the domination for two more games!!!

Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : Zero, I wonder if Wisconsin promised him the HC at some point in the future
Mucky Tundra (10-Feb) : yeah Cheesey,I love how Brady ran 10+ yards and bumps into Mathieu helmet first the refs do nothing but when Mathieu turns to walk away and just points at Brady they instantly flag him

Mucky Tundra (9-Feb) : Zero, I cant tell if you're being sarcastic, serious or both lol
Cheesey (9-Feb) : If Rodgers has Tampa’s defense, he would win SBs too.

Mucky Tundra (9-Feb) : Zero, Brady just wants it more than the next guy
Zero2Cool (9-Feb) : Former NFL coach Marty Schottenheimer has passed away,

Mucky Tundra (9-Feb) : and it just looked a little funky to anyone since they took away stops from the Chiefs D and Tampa scored TDs off the drives
Mucky Tundra (9-Feb) : Zero, the penalties were a little iffy and compared to what was going on when GB played Tampa absolutely nothing. Throw in the timing of them (bailed Tampa out of INT and a failed 3rd down conversion)
Zero2Cool (8-Feb) : The #Cardinals and long-time Pro Bowl CB Patrick Peterson are parting ways, per @MattVerderame
Zero2Cool (8-Feb) : It was funny reading comments. Brady is amazing! I look at scoreboard, 9 points? Brady did that? lol

yooperfan (8-Feb) : Just another fixed game by the NFL. The officiating decided another game. I’m sick of it.🤬
Cheesey (8-Feb) : Mahomes has to run for his life all game.
Mucky Tundra (8-Feb) : Zero, I was watching it closely until the Fournette TD in the 3rd. Was hoping Mahomes would put on a show

packerfanoutwest (8-Feb) : Fuck Brady and the refs
Zero2Cool (8-Feb) : No shame in it. Just have no interest in it. Deadliest Decade 90s got me all day.
Zero2Cool (8-Feb) : Lol you guys watching the Super Bowl. Hulu for this guy. 😊
Cheesey (8-Feb) : Imagine what the Packers could do with that defense???
Cheesey (8-Feb) : Tampa’s defense should be MVP.
Cheesey (8-Feb) : To me, the commercials sucked too.
Mucky Tundra (8-Feb) : It's a look that says "even if I can make it close, the refs will put their thumb on the scale"
Cheesey (8-Feb) : Mahomes has the same look on his face thatRodgers had.
