I just read a blurb that the Packers signed Veldheer off the Colts practice squad.

Welcome back. You've been missed.

In reality he won't see the field unless there's an injury. Perhaps FG protection. So that's good.

But reading an article about the Browns claiming a PS players off the Jets PS before the playoffs, it sounded like of they wanted the player to play, he had drive from Jets to Brown's due to NFL Covid rules.

If he flew, he would of had to wait an additional time period because he came in close contact with others on the plane... also there was some distance milage rule.

The article mentioned Seahawks are at a disadvantage, as they're so far away from the rest of the teams that even if a player drove the entire way, it's still such a distances that they'd have to wait that extra period no matter what based on the rules. (which, if true, I'm surprised Snacks didn't have to wait longer).

So don't take that this as fact, but their might be some NFL Covid rules that makes it more advantage to drive vs fly.

I didn't see anything in an article. It's a 6 hour trip by car. Roughly 400 miles. Of course this doesn't take into consideration any delays when driving through the hellhole known as Chicago.

Of course going through Milwaukee during "rush hour" might have added 10 minutes to the trip. 😉

The guy has a shot at getting a Super Bowl ring, after losing with the Colts.
That, and I’m sure a great amount of cash.
A “win win” situation for him.
For that, I’d drive 400 miles!😁

Zero posted he’s positive for covid.
I hope he didn’t infect any other of our guys.
They brought him in to help, and now it might destroy the team.🙁
