homer and thunder just let all of wisconsin know that the commish DOES have the power to overturn a game

that would be unprecedented, however

Such as a ball being passed, clearly bouncing off the ground a couple times a yard away from someone, the WR picking it up and it being ruled a TD. Or in a situation like this game, if one of the refs were found to have bet against the Packers and there was other evidence of intentional discrimination. That is a huge can of worms to open, as sick as this game makes me, I don't blame the commish for not opening it (presumably).

he wont use it..

it would undermine his position. which i would imagine he holds higher than any one game.

Goodell's a coward. He won't overturn it.

Here's another thing.

That's why you knock the ball down in that situation. You don't go for the INT.

The officials: Elliott (d2), Rhone-Dunn (Big 12), Harrod (D2, arena), Easley (Calif. HS/JC), Simmons (TX HS), Peek (TX HS). Easley blew call

easley is a highschool / juco ref

his call overruled the ref who ruled it a touchback.
