Today's apparently the day for long snapper news, and the Packers are coming full circle with theirs. According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, the Packers are expected to re-sign veteran long snapper Brett Goode, who started the season with them. He still has to pass a physical but it is expected to be routine. Goode [more]

Kinda funny, if you find the story on FB, read some of the comments.
There are people there trying to hang Ted out to dry because they released Goode from IR and now have brought him back .
Real "haters" there making themselves look foolish because they don't know the rules.

Thats what makes this place so much better!

We may not always agree, but most here understand The rules of football and why GM's do what they do.
When there is a question, there is always a correct answer from someone here.

I tried to explain by releasing Goode, Ted was able to bring him back 2 weeks earlier and save one of his return from IR moves
Fell mostly on deft ears. 😂😂

The sad thing about the FB post is that people explained it and when people who bitched about got the information instead of thanking the others for the explanation and change their opinion, some found it better to troll the person who showed them up and continued to bash Ted.

It was a great move. I hope Goode is back to 100%. It is quite evident that not having a serviceable longsnapper is a really big challenge. Definitely a position one takes for granted.

Goode has to be "gooder" then the last guy!
Although I don't think it was the snap as much as the holder messing up on that FG attempt.

Brett Goode. Yet another player who was released due to injury.

It's Goode to have him back. 🙂
