Nothing matters beyond the scoreboard. The NFL is about scoring points. Period. Nonetheless, the Packers enter this week’s game against the New York Giants in London ranked sixth in total offense. They are 10th in yards per play, ninth in rushing yards per play and ninth on third down.

Looking beyond the raw numbers, the Packers are second in the NFL with 35 big plays, according to SportRadar, with a big play defined as a run of 10-plus yards or a pass of 20-plus yards.

“Mark these words,” Orlovsky said. “This offense is going to be better by the end of the season than what it was last year with Davante Adams.”

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I hate this stat nerd era. What wins u games? Points. What loses u games? Points. A defense and offense should be judged based off of points, not some weird analytic stat about how well ur offense does on 3rd and short during an eclipse on a Sunday.

Our offense is near the bottom of the barrel in points scored. Our defense is near the top in points allowed. All of this is proven on the field as our offense has stunk and our defense has done well.

See, its that easy. No need to go indepth into irrelevant scenarios to make a team look better or worse.

So the next time u read an article stating we have a top 10 Offense or "total offense", just laugh and move on because we dont.

I sure hope he is right and we get "better" Because we cant rely on defense all year long against good teams

So stats are bad, so you use somes stats to show you are right and more stats are bad...

All he's saying is they have a hell lot more potential, that they're currently failing to pull out, and it's his belief that by the end of the season, they will be more successful at living up to their potential.

Rodgers is quickly nearing the end of his career, and this might be his last season. So he either has to click NOW with the young guys, or it's over.

If you go by stats, it may make you look great or lousy, when in the end wins and losses are what really matters. Winning ugly beats losing pretty all the time.
At least that's what I got from his post.
I've seen plenty of posts here calling Rodgers a "stat whore", meaning that's all that matters to him. Stats can be misleading.
