Maybe they are holding off leaking anything about her, so they can use it if she tries to sue them.
They may have legitimate reasons to terminate her, but are actually being decent by keeping it to themselves.

And a legitimate reason, would sound better than lack of "culture fit", especially when everyone public response to her firing was that, she's amazing, one of the best to do her job.

Then again, maybe doing amazing job is within itself a culture fit problem for the Houston Texans... as they seem to prefer to keep guys that are doing crappy job around long term.

This is all well and good in theory. And generally, the sentiment is noble and well-intended. Unfortunately, it's not true that having a good resume will get you the same opportunities. Research shows that simply having a black or ethnic-sounding name makes it less likely that one will get a callback or interview for a position even when the candidate is exceptionally qualified for the position.

I never claimed a resume' can guarantee success, but that it could limit ones chances against a more qualified candidate. More education, job training, awards, etc. shows an employer that the candidate has in the past been willing to put in the hard work they are looking for. A resume' does list a persons education and past work record, but more importantly it is a window on the persons character. Employers don't like to hire people who think the world owes them because of their race or sex or some other factor. I full well know just how hard it is to walk into an interview and sell yourself to some cold staring person who is trying to determine weather you can (1) do the job, (2) will you be dependable, (3) will you fit in with the other workers, and (4) are you trustworthy. No one wants to make the mistake of hiring someone with an attitude that will be disruptive to the work environment. Education/job history are important, but still they are slices of and not the full pie. Colin Kaepernick is a good example: He had/has the physical abilities, but his disruption to a team would hurt rather than help a team. His negatives greatly outweigh his positives.
