With the Giants having an average run game with a poor passing game means that their run game is pretty damn good. We should expect a game plan similar to what Pittsburgh ran against us. Ball control, shorten the game.

I hope you are right, but I see a much closer game. I think it will be closer, much closer 17-14.

I really don't care what the score is. Just win baby.

The one thing you are not factoring in are the turnovers. The Packers will be +2 in turnovers this week. If the Giants are down by 2 scores they will have to try and pass.

Giants have allowed an NFL-high 69 sacks. PFF rates the Giants as the 32nd-best pass-blocking OL and 30th-best run-blocking OL. They've been penalized 29 times for holding or false start.— Zach Kruse (@zachkruse2) December 6, 2023

Tommy DeVito has been sacked 26 times in the 4 games he’s started. That is a wild 6 sacks per game. Defensive Line might feast on Monday! — Big B (@bigpackers4x) December 6, 2023

Friday Injury Report. Typically no Friday practice means no play play on game day. However, this being a Monday Night game might change things. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if Walker and Watson do not play Monday.

Alexander says it's 'tough' to play until he can put 'best foot forward'

Rob Demovsky, ESPN Staff Writer

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Jaire Alexander explained on Friday why he's been practicing for the last three weeks yet hasn't played in a month after he sustained a shoulder injury on Nov. 5 in the Green Bay Packers win over the Rams.

"I'm the type of person that I always want to put my best foot forward," Alexander said. "So I feel like if I can't put my best foot forward then it's just tough to even be out there."

Just like he has been for the last three weeks, Alexander has been a limited participant in practice. In all, Alexander, who is the highest-paid cornerback in the NFL at $21 million per year, has missed seven of the Packers' 12 games this season. He missed three games earlier this year because of a back injury.

Alexander said he believes the coaching staff understands what he's dealing with. He said he doesn't have full "functionability" in his shoulder, which he said is critical for a cornerback.

"I mean, especially when you're talking about elite corners, it's a tough one to battle," Alexander said. Alexander would not say whether he plans to play on Monday night against the New York Giants, but he prefaced his 6-minute session with reporters by saying he would be lying anyway.

"Let the lies begin," he said before taking questions.

Meanwhile, running back Aaron Jones is inching closer to a return from the sprained MCL that has kept him out of the lats two games. Jones returned to practice on Thursday and was limited in the two days of practice so far this week.

Jones said he hoped to take part in a bigger portion of practice on Saturday.

"I feel like I'm close," Jones said." It's just, like, getting up to that full speed, but I feel like I'm close."

The Packers are likely to be without receiver Christian Watson, who has not practiced this week after he sustained a hamstring injury late in Sunday's win over the Chiefs.

Zero2Cool (10h) : Collin Whitchurch @cowhitchurch Ā· 1h Chicago got a pope before it got a QB to throw for 4,000 yards in a season.

dfosterf (4-May) : FYI civilian companies swipe the S2 designation from the military. S2 is the intelligence branch up to brigade level. G2 is division level.
dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
beast (4-May) : In theory, the S2 test how quickly a QBs brain can solve game like issues and how quickly they can do it.
dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.
beast (4-May) : NFL really needs to fix their position labeling issue, but I don't think they care
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Packers did not activate the fifth-year options for linebacker Quay Walker, with the goal of signing him to a contract extension.
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Matthew Golden spoke with Randall Cobb before draft. Looked like chance encounter.

packerfanoutwest (1-May) : someone drunk?
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Unlikely.
dfosterf (30-Apr) : How long until Jeff Sperbeck's family sues John Elway ?
Zero2Cool (30-Apr) : Packers are exercising the fifth-year option on DT Devonte Wyatt, locking in a guaranteed $12.9M for the 2026 season.
beast (30-Apr) : Sounds like P Luke Elzinga has a rookie try out opportunity from the Titans
dfosterf (30-Apr) : Luke Elzinga Punter Oklahoma stil unsigned. Green Bay has been mentioned as good fit

Martha Careful (28-Apr) : RIP Packer Safety Tim Brown
beast (27-Apr) : Yeah, but also some of the wording suggestions Jax only pranked called the QB, not the others... and if he had an open spreadsheet & 3 calls
beast (27-Apr) : Thank goodness he's not leaving the Turtle in the Red Tide
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : Cowboys 1st round pick Tyler Booker will indeed be bringing his pet turtle to Dallas with him
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : that contained all prospects info and contact
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : beast, according the Falcons statement Jax came across it on an ipad. If I had to guess, probably an open spread sheet or something
Zero2Cool (27-Apr) : Simmons put up an emoji with cheese.
beast (27-Apr) : Not sure anyone is interested in Isaiah Simmons... Collin Oliver might of taken his potential slot
