With Rodgers down for likely the rest of the season, I fully anticipate that GM Ted Thompson and Head Coach Mike McCarthy will finally receive the recognition they deserve both among Packer fans generally and among the national press specifically.

Rodgers tends to suck up the lion's share of the credit for the Packers success.

Over the next ten games it will be the guy who put together the roster and the coach who puts that roster together on the field who will deservedly get all the attention.

Can't wait.

Now whether their do is good or bad is what we will see going forward. That is what I respect from Belicheck the most, he has changed what the offense does so many times as his personnel changed and has had success with them all. He is what 13-6 in games without Brady.

I don't think McCarthy has been very good adjusting what he does when players get hurt, it took him 1/2 a season to adjust to losing Finley, I don't think he every really got adjusted to not having Jordy, or last time Rodgers was out extended.

Its a lose-lose situation, the homers who are constantly calling for Ted/Mike/Dom to be fired will never cease their pursuits. Even if the Packers play well without Rodgers they'll be wondering why Hundley wasn't made the starter before the season started etc....

I just hope the rest of the positions that have been decimated get healthy enough to give Hundley a chance to win some games. No quarterback/coach can adapt to playing 5th stringers on a consistent basis.

I certainly hope GB continues to win. That will be amazing. But if they don't it does expose the weakness of the organization. They have been more than a little reluctant to fill positions with anything other than draft picks and UDFAs. Generally speaking.
They have chosen to rely more on Aaron's good looks to win than building depth around him. Once again NE being the classic example.
