GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver had a busy night on the eve of the NFL season opener against the New Orleans Saints.

Instead of reviewing plays ahead of the game, Driver and wife Betina welcomed a baby girl into the world on Wednesday.

Charity Danette weighed in at 7 lbs 3 oz.

Dan Patrick was joking that the new baby was named after the "Danettes" on his radio show.

Hopefully we will still be basking in the afterglow of another Super Bowl victory when my wife gives birth next year.
