If Kevin Greene is under contract, he can't go to another team unless he is promoted to a higher position. And he is nowhere near ready to be a defensive coordinator yet. And even if he's not under contract, I would expect him to want to stay in Green Bay to continue developing our LB's.

I think everyone should be safe. McCarthy showed today that he can keep a team focused especially after a tough loss.

The team came out prepared today, and you have to give a lot of that credit to McCarthy.

I think if we stick with MM and Ted Thompson long term, they can be great together. They both think on the same page and our team is starting to look like legit contenders.

I think we need to stick with what we've got.

You have to say every coach is safe. To be honest, it's hard to fire Campen based off the last half of the season, as the line really stepped up.

Same for Slocum - say what you want about ST but the last month they've been solid.

Everyone is safe for next year and the year after.

I'd generally agree... but would like to add the caveat "unless they implode next season ala 6-10 last year".

The way this coaching staff and players turned this thing around after the Tampa Bay debacle, I think the whole coaching staff should be safe.
I'm all for continuity but the fact remains we may lose some staff to other teams.

i think McCarthy is safe for now but he will be judged in the playoffs, whether its horrible play-calling OR yet another horrible challenge in the playoffs etc....i think if he does anything ridiculously boneheaded that costs the pack a game he will be gone, i just have that feeling for whatever reason

I find it hard to believe that McCarthy would get fired for throwing a bad challenge flag, even if it cost us a game (and it is pretty damn rare for a bad challenge flag to cost a team a game in the first place).

I think the vast majority of fans of other NFL teams would find it amusing that Packer fans are even having this discussion right now.

No shit! Can the Tators please go into hibernation until we have a losing season again. But I do want a new Left Tackle Uncle Ted. All I got good for Christmas was a chainsaw, so I'm owed that gift.

Lets see... the oline stabilized with Tauscher and Clifton becoming healthy and playing the majority of the snaps.

How does that speak to Campen and Fonteno's ability to develop lineman and put together a group.

I think it would be a mistake to allow that group to continue on with this inconsistent group. Seriously, we have the same Achilles heal for the past couple of years yet adjusting the playcalling and having two dinosaurs at tackle string solidify a underachieving group to give two coaches that have done little a pass for yet another year,

I agree. Making the playoffs is great but it doesnt mean we cant improve (and lets admit it there are still things we need to improve on).

If replacing Campen with a proven OLine guru will improve the team I hope we do it, whether we win the superbowl or not.
