Now that we made the playoffs how do you guys see Ted Thompson - Mike McCarthy and the rest of the coaching staff secured there jobs for a long term or you guys think they will be judged in the playoffs too?

I think Ted Thompson is safe for a couple more years but I have a feeling that Mike McCarthy is still going to be judged to see how the playoffs are going to go.

I agree that Ted is safe for a couple of years at least even if we go one and done. If we go deep then he could be in the job longer. Top drafts like 2009 will also help his cause.
Mike McCarthy will certainly be back next year and probably the year after. But all it takes is one howler of a season and he could be gone if Ted Thompson has a better man lined up.

However he's not the hire and fire type and I think he knows consistency breeds success.

Campen and Slocum though could both be gone.

We may also lose some of our front office staff to the Holmgren revolution in Cleveland.

Right now I think they are all safe.

The Oline has been pretty solid lately and as they continue to get away from the ZBS, I think the team is moving into the coaches comfort zone. McCarthy had math teachers teaching sewing.

British summed it up perfectly. But he needs to get to bed. It's the middle of the night over there, and tomorrow is a work day.

With the O-line recovering in the second half of the season, I think Campen will probably stay after all. I think Slocum will stay too. I've always maintained that firing a special teams coach is just a cosmetic move anyway. And with the Packers making the playoffs, I don't think there will be a need to make such moves.

Dunno, but I'm sick of the Oline being horrendous for the first 8-10 games. Happens every year. And we need to replace Clifton.

Hey Greg, you're right its the middle of the night but thankfully no work day tomorrow.

The day after Christmas Day (called Boxing Day) is a national holiday but as its a Saturday this year it gets tacked onto the weekend. Sowork starts again Tuesday 🙂

I hope we don't lose Greene. He seems to be able to get the most out of the LB'ers.

I can't see Greene going anywhere yet. It is his first year coaching in the NFL. Or at all that I know of. He needs to spend time behind a great before he will move up.
