I'm not sure how likely this is, but I wouldn't cry about this.

Packers get
Broncos 9th overall

Broncos get
Packers 28th overall
QB Jordan Love

What do you think the Packers can get for Jordan Love in 2022? Personally, I don't think he gets traded until after 2022.

Swapping first round picks with the Broncos would be like picking up an extra late 1st round pick. Got to pull the trigger, of course with this draft unless an elite OL falls, I might then take that top 10 pick and try to trade back.

But if Broncos offer pick #40, I'd probably be willing to pull the trigger as I think more talent than normal in the top 50.

If Broncos only offered pick #64, I'd want some more information from the insider on Love, like do they think he's going to develop and could win us games.

Now that Aaron's running the place he's more likely to get hurt on one of those sandlot plays.

Although you're right, this is a weak year for QBs. I'd keep Love tho. Aaron's contract numbers are backloaded. Might not be a realistic payout, and dude's coming up on 40.

I have a difficult time imagining any team giving us a first round pick for Love. IMO we'd be better off keeping him as Rodgers' backup. This isn't the strongest QB draft class and I don't see anybody else out there any better.

Broncos got Wilson now so they will have no interest in Love.

So, Jordan Love not likely to go to Broncos, lol.

Broncos get: Russell Wilson, 4th-round pick.
Seahawks get: Two 1st-round picks, two 2nd-round picks, a 5th-round pick, QB Drew Lock, DL Shelby Harris, TE Noah Fant.

Someone on Tweeter said what about Jordan Love to Seattle? Seahawks like to hand the ball off and toss it deep so kind of fits with what Love does well.

Now that it doesn't matter, I wouldn't want to give up two picks and get only one in return unless the incoming player is a stud. I don't know enough about the top 10 to make that determination.

Though now I'm wondering what if Rodgers to the Broncos and Wilson to the Packers. Wilson is younger and more mobile and has never had good pass blocking in front of him. Anyways that's gone...

I think there were some reports of other teams interested in Love earlier this offseason, but I doubt they'd get much value if they traded now, probably worth more as a backup and hope he develops and looks great in a game or two where he unfortunately has to play in, and then has much higher trade value then.

dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'

wpr (23-Jul) : I thought so Mucky. In those useless player polls GB always rates high overall. Locker is a part of it.
