No sir, but it was reported the Cardinals were offering that to McCarthy, and all signs pointed to Browns hiring him, until he balked at being forced to have his OC selected for him. Another thing game out just recently that the Jets and McCarthy broke down over staff issues too.

Per Mehta, the Jets wanted Rhule to hire former Buccaneers offensive coordinator Todd Monken. Rhule wanted to hire his own guy. And so it all fell apart.

1) If all these rumors are true, muliple teams are trying to force these "arranged (coaching) marriage"... I wonder how common this is.
2) Everyone wants Todd Monken as OC
3) No one wanted him as HC? Makes me wonder why, they all seem to really want the guy, but not fully commit to him .
If LaFleur really wants someone with just a year or two left on their contract, say his brother or McDaniel (both on the 49ers), then he might be able to hire Monken, and if the can turn the Packers offense around then Monken will get hot and maybe a head coach in job, and the spot is open for him to add the new person, who just had their contract go up.
