This close to the draft I wouldn't believe any rumors so much misinformation out there.

Packers are just checking the price tags to moge up, I'm sure, but if they like the price tag, they want to be ready to pull the trigger.

I'm guessing pretty much every team is "plotting" a move up, or a move down or is "plotting" to stand pat. In fact if a GM isn't at least considering it he is not doing his job. As a GM you make inquiries to test the waters and see who might be amenable to what.

When I read tweets like this sometimes I hope the opposite happens just to see how the twit reacts.

They'll find a way to maneuver around reality to say they were right. It's what they do, as well as certain commander in chief. (sorry couldn't resist)

Brian G conference he said they have about five people handling the phones and they have deals in place prior to the draft and prior to the pick. Depending on how things fall, they contact those previously agreed upon draft trades to see if the option is still available. This is news or headline worthy only because it deviates from what we've publicly heard from our GM in the past. This has been common with the Packers since Ron Wolf. They are still handling draft room stuff to his thinking. This is all stuff Brian G stated and John Dorsey.

To me this is just due diligence and doing your homework.

There is not a lot of time between picks. It only makes sense for the GM to know what the asking price would be to move up should the other GM being willing to trade back.

Sending out misinformation usually signals draft room thinking because NFL front offices are not like about 40% of the American public that is just STUPID and accepts as fact lie after lie after lie.

Example: If the Bulaga “leak” is designed to get GMs to think GB’s looking to draft OL when we are not, this could trick fans and draftniks. But, NFL front offices have countless ways to learn just serious GB is from moving on from Bulaga. If GB is not, then 1265 just informed the other 31 teams that they are not looking OL.

Even more frightening is that 1265 is looking OL and this is designed as justification to placate a fanbase that will undoubtedly be disappointed.
