IN 2015 our BU preseason OL was Vujonivich, Walker, Tretter, Taylor, Barclay. 3 are starters, Barclay has started and Walker is 9th OL in Jax. Many thought Taylor [or Walker] would be cut. I thought both were in the top 53 and both were kept on roster.

This is a shock! I dont know why they signed RJF in the 1st place; but you can never have enough CBs. Pankey for Gunter; never would have guessed that in a million years. They must feel comfy with Odom as #4 for a few games, I guess they could put Ryan or Thomas out there as well. Maybe someone offered Pankey a roster spot; I gotta go watch him again.

It seems like if he was that close to the end of the roster you would have just cut him to begin with and kept Ringo or something. I'm guessing they really like Dial or were just doing the vet a favor.

I don't remember thinking much of Pankey but Spriggs did leave the game Sunday because of a hamstring. I don't like how it looks for Bulaga though. What exactly is Patrick doing on the team if we need Pankey so much then? He isn't active on gameday so they don't see him as the top guy to back up C or G and Murphy/Spriggs are the guys at T.

Bulaga might still be on the shelf and Spriggs got hurt against the Seahawks. If Brian and Spriggs can't go Sunday against the Falcons, Pankey is your backup to Murphy at RT.

Yeah 5 OT seems like a lot. But Pankey did finish among the better pass blockers in one on one drills

And during week 1 there was a number of struggling OL, I can't help but wonder if some other teams might of been sniffing another for another OL to add, especially with some questioning if Spriggs is 100% because I guess he left the game with a hamstring injury?

Maybe they are going to bring RJF back once Spriggs/Bulaga are healthy. Since he's a vet he won't go to waivers and since they already paid him maybe he agreed to stick around and come back.
