This is one of those games that I think would be MUCH MUCH different in Lambeau. I think the Packers would win convinceably at Lambeau. Matt Ryan couldn't handle it. It's going to be close in the loud dome.

We seem to relish the underdog role much better than we handle the frontrunner role and I think that's what nerd was saying in his post yesterday. It is true...we're so much better when it is stacked against us then when it appears it should be easy for us.

Either team has the O to blow the other out. Neither has the D to keep it low scoring. It's going to take unforced errors to make this one lopsided. Aaron doesn't make many mistakes. Ryan is much more likely to be tight and throw us a few. Hard not liking us in this one and I do. I like us as much or more as I did vs. Dallas.

If we win it's another indoor game in Houston.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

So far many good points have been brought forward. They include: (1) The crowd noise in a doomed stadium, (2) GB's beat up and depleted secondary, (3) Atlanta's aggressive pass rush, (4) Injured personal on both teams and who may still play, and more.

Now let's get down to the nitty-gritty, the nuts and bolts, where the rubber meets the road.

First: What Offensive strategy will work best against Atlanta's defense ?

Second : What Defensive strategy will work best against Atlanta's Offense ?

Third : Who will play the key roles in the GB @ Atlanta contest ? The Coaches, the QB's, the Ref's, a WR, a LB ? [confused]

IMO, all of the above will be involved, but I suspect that some unforeseen occurrence will steer this games direction. It could be a spectacular catch or a fumble in the Red Zone or an amazing Kick Return for a TD.

I see it as a shootout. Two high powered offenses. If we can get pressure on Matt Ryan, I think we will win. He's not as mobile as the Cowboys QB.
Also, the health of our wr's like Jordy is a big deal.
