I hate saying this, but you have to give a lot of credit to the Vikings management because that back 7 defense looks like it could become great, and the front four aren't bad either. Of course they're not all fully healthy right now either.
If they can form solid or better lines on both sides of the ball, the Vikings could be scary with good QB play... even if it's just a good game manager type. Of course that's assuming AP is back to his normal self, but I'm hoping his age and that big contract got to him and he finally starts dropping off some.
I got a feeling after seeing the successful TE screen that the Jags ran on the Packers, that the Vikings will have some screens of their own as well.
It'll be interesting to see how the Packers handle the DL... do Daniels and Guion continue to play a VERY high percentage with Peppers and Datone subbing in for interior work? Or do they get the young guys like Clark more involved?
Also how do the Packers hold up without Shields this year. Put pressure on the Vikings backfield and holdup in one on one with the WRs and you could potentially shut the Vikings offense down. Of course that's easy said than done. But Bradford might now know the system that well (yet) and you "run blitz" the pocket to get to Peterson, you'll also be putting pressure on Bradford to get the ball out quicker.
