Full complement of offensive weapons back on the field. A secondary that I think has a potential to create a lot of headaches for teams. I want to see what the front seven can do to help make the secondary look like studs. Packers come out of the gate strong and media is talking about how Jordy Nelson gives Rodgers his groove back.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have decided to eschew their black, heat-absorbing home jerseys in Sunday’s season-opening game with the Packers. Instead, the Jaguars will wear white jerseys, forcing the Packers to wear their green jerseys traditionally reserved for home games at Lambeau Field. The forecast for Jacksonville on Sunday is a high of 92 degrees and sunny.

The Packers have been notorious slow starters under McCarthy and I think with the very light practice schedule this offseason there will be some miscues. Combine that with the heat and some players coming back from injury untested...I think it'll be closer than people think.

I would have trouble simply sitting outdoors for 3 + hours let alone be physically active wearing helmets and pads.
This has to be rough on both teams regardless of what color they are wearing.

I once lived in Clearwater , Fla and I can testify about the combination of heat and humidity. When both are high, it just has to be experienced to be believed . It can be like walking into a steam-bath .

Hydration will be the order of the day. Fluids, salt tablets, Bananas (for potassium) to help prevent cramps, cool fans on the sidelines, and tons of towels . It will be a real ordeal for the Packers, but ordeals tend to produce heart and character and team spirit .

Green Bay - 31
Jacksonville - 24

So good to see these threads again...

Packers defense is going to be tested by the Jags passing attack. We will get an early look at how our young defense is going to look. I am really looking forward to seeing how Martinez and Clark play. I have high hopes for Martinez this year. Defense creates two turnovers.

I think the offense gives us this win. Looking for Rodgers to connect early with Nelson.

Lacy has a day (100+ rushing- 1 touchdown).

Rodgers throws for 3 tds (2 Nelson, 1 Cook).

Jaguars- 24
