Looking at the roster as a whole. I don't see much open space on offense for an UDFA to make it. Same for OLB... but maybe the rest of the defense especially at DL and CB with Pennel and Goodson suspensions. Heck it's possible that two UDFA could make it at one of the two positions.

Are we counting non-rookies as UDFA? Such as CB Robertson Daniel... he's an UDFA but he was on the practice squad last year.

If I had to guess for one, I guess DL Brian Price as I thought he was clearly ahead of other DL at family night and very well could be the 6th DL (5th with Pennel's suspension) and I have no clue what the order is at CB after the top four and maybe Goodson (who's suspended) for the CB position.

More Brice from JSOnline.com: (McGinn liked Burks on O and Brice on D calling them the most impressive of ALL the rookies to take the field last night.)

Of the 10 defensive backs that played more than 12 snaps, Brice (5-11 ½, 201) was the most impressive. For the first time, at least from my vantage point, you could see his phenomenal testing numbers transfer to the field.

Brice’s range leaped out. On one pass to the boundary, he came from somewhere near the middle of the field to contest a receiver who already was out of bounds. When a running back caught a pass in the flat, Brice closed in a heartbeat and made it a negligible gain.

He was able to turn and go off the hashmark with ease. There also was a time or two in which he looked comfortable covering a wide receiver from the slot, something that he said was a commonplace for him at Louisiana Tech.

His pro-day numbers? A 40-yard dash of 4.43 seconds, a vertical jump of 42 inches, a broad jump of 11-1 and 21 reps on the bench press. Florida State’s Jalen Ramsey, the fifth pick in the draft, might have been the only defensive back at the combine to test better than Brice.

According to one personnel man, Brice wasn’t overly physical in college. “I thought bigger backs were able to step out of his tackles a little bit,” he said. “Solid tackler. He’s not a thumper.”

Brice did deliver a hard hit on special teams and has more than aggressive enough in the “thud” work of camp.

---Not sure what that personnel man is talking about. Watch Brice's YT clips. He blows people up. Goes for the knockout shot and often gets it. He FLIES to the football. Incredible speed on the field. Most speed and power we may have ever had back there. He'll make this team.

Burks over Crockett? Yes, please. Crockett is a JAG. We've needed a speedy shift pass catching 3rd down threat forever. Crockett ain't that. He's just another non descript back like so many we've had over the years. Vernand Morency, Dmitri Nance, Harry Sidney, etc. Let's get a guy with some sizzle to his game for once.

That's the other guy I was trying to think of that I liked. Thanks dude. I'll make sure to look out for him as well.

MM seems very happy to play either one of them in the backfield for clear passing downs just like Sherman with RB Tony Fisher. They're the 3rd down pass catchers out of the backfield.

Let's not forget Mike likes to run that up tempo offense that requires no substitutes.

There are special packages for Cobb and/or Montgomery.

Keeps the defense from changing personal.

Lacy and Starks are both 3 down backs, as was Cobb last year when he was in the backfield.

That being said, i still think there will be 3 rb's and 1 FB on the final 53.

I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

Brice, Brice, Baby...bump bump bump bumpa bumpa....Brice, Brice, Baby.,..HITS LIKE A TRUCK. Can't cut this energy in pads. Type of guy who changes label from soft to tough. He's a machine out there. If they keep Banjo over him, I'm going to puke.

I'll watch some more of the game again later but from memory, nothing tonight changed my sentiment of Banjo over Brice, and I really do like Brice.

DR...If this team doesn't find room for Brice, Banjo or no Banjo, I'll be very upset. This is not a Jumari Rolle situation. Brice is a defining type player. That kind of guy all by himself can change the perception of your defense from soft to hard nosed. He's a killer out there. Absolutely brings the heat all the time. Packers love try hard players like Banjo, but Brice is a try hard guy with incredible skills and measurables not to mention his hitting ability.

Ain't no way he doesn't make this roster unless he gets injured. Just can't see how he couldn't with his skillset and ability to make plays that we could honestly say he's not in our Top 4. Banjo and Hyde are JAG's. Brice has some real star potential.

Look at some of the tweets about Brice last night and then this from a site I don't value much but still:

beast (10h) : 6 days
wpr (17-Apr) : 7 days
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.
dfosterf (15-Apr) : I may have to move
dfosterf (15-Apr) : My wife just told the ancient Japanese sushi dude not enough rice under his fish
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I think a dozen is what I need
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb
wpr (9-Apr) : yay
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Mark Murphy says Steelers likely to protect Packers game. Meaning, no Ireland
Zero2Cool (8-Apr) : Struggling to figure out what text editor options are needed and which are 'nice to have'
Mucky Tundra (8-Apr) : *CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP*
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : WR who said he'd break Xavier Worthy 40 time...and ran slower than you
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Who?
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
