For the past 6-7 years GB has EASILY had a better roster than NE. It is because Ted Thompson has drafted better and has not needed to go the FA route as often as Belichek.

The ONLY reason NE has had more success in playoffs is the relative performance late in games of Brady and Rodgers in the playoffs. Oh, and like Nerd says, he cheats!

2011 choke job v Giants. If Rodgers plays with his avg game, we win.

2013, down by 3, if AR drives for TD late in 4th, we win. He only got FG.

2014, at any point in the game, one big play, just one; or just 1 first down in 4th Q in 3 drives, just one; we win.

2015-up 13-10 late in 3rd. and he goes 3 and out [Punt]; 7 and out [Punt]; 4 and out [downs].

Brady for sure wins 2 of those 4 games; probably 3 of 4; and maybe even all 4 games.
did you see him move the ball up and down the field on Denver in 4th Q? Rodgers could do that in first 3 Quarters; but he is 100% incapable of doing that in 4th Q of a playoff game.

They were better in every category on defence and absolutely demolished us in all categories on offence. That's not just down to collapsing in the 4th quarter or one injury to your WR.

I agree with you that Brady has proven himself to be a better comeback QB than Rodgers, but I very much disagree that that's the only thing the Patriots are better at and the reason for their annual succes. If that was the case, the last coupe of Super Bowls should've been SEA vs NE.

The Pats have Bill. That's a big plus. But they don't get there the last two years without help from guys like Sheard, LaFell, Revis, Lewis and Amendola.

Maybe he will Weddle into the activity later in the period... maybe a plan Cook-ed up... but that probably doesn't make a Spence. He certainly will not spend Okung with the Penn in this free agency period.

That's not exactly shocking. If Tom Brady is the metric by which all quarterbacks are compared, there aren't going to be many other successful quarterbacks in the history of the NFL. Tom Brady has been a great player despite his physical limitations and he has had the best coach ever behind him at all times. I have no doubt Aaron Rodgers would have had much more success if he was coached by Bill Belichick rather than ho hum Mike McCarthy. McCarthy might be a good coach, but Belichick STOMPS him.
