When Jordy Nelson was healthy last season, double covering him often meant that Randall Cobb would make defenses pay and the two men each racked up more than 90 catches and 1,200 yards before the season came to a close. Things haven't been so prolific with Nelson out of the lineup this season. While the...

The Packers have a big problem at WR and TE, not one of them makes a defense nervous. The stat boys in here can throw all the numbers at me they want to, doesn't change the obvious. If A Rodgers ever went down for major time, that would be evident pretty quickly.

Please Ted Thompson go buy us some talent upgrades at WR and TE, while our QB is in his prime!

Is this injury event true for just the Packers? Or all teams everywhere?

Any team in any sport can claim the same thing about their star players.... the team would be hurt...

James Jones hinders the development of younger player which is why I didn't want this signing to happen. We'll see where he lands on the depth chart, but if he takes away playing time from Montgomery and Janis, this is not a good thing.

So you're asking for a team to let a top tier WR get to market and to be reasonable for the Packers to sign...

In other words you're asking for something that doesn't exist... which lets you keep complaining that it doesn't happen. Even though it's not really that possible to happen in the first place.

Cobb's hurting. He might be having trouble getting off the line if guys are jamming him with that sore shoulder.

It just seems like they've been targeting Montgomery more. I do expect Cobb's receptions to increase.

Well obviously Cobb's going to be in double coverage his the #1 WR on the team. Not worried tho, as we've still got Adams to come in add an extra threat. James Jones been playing extremely well & Montgomery is getting more reps. Look for Montgomery to be even more of a threat when Adams comes back & as he gains more experience.

Imagine Cobb, Jones, Adams, Montgomery, Rodgers / Janis

Our WR's are extremely dangerous and talented. Each one of them can make a play at any time of the game. I wish Nelson wasn't injured, imagine how awesome it would be!
