This argument makes about as much sense as you and the rest of the dipshits make when we argue the ethical standards of Republicans. 🙄

Dean Blandino acknowledges Cowboys got away with one

According to Blandino, the clear penalty Hitchens got away with was defensive holding: Hitchens grabbed Pettigrew’s jersey while Pettigrew was running his route, and Blandino said that should have been called. If it had been, it would have given the Lions an automatic first down.

The only thing that will come of this is that next time, the head of officiating won't be publicly seen partying with Jerry at the game.

I thought that should of been a call - and IMO we probably would be playing carolina and seattle playing the lions (which have a chance).

Now we get to play dallas which will be a tough game compared to the panthers - and seattle vs the panthers (joke) -

and we get to play seattle at home ... revenge time? who knows - its the pack and its in seattle ...

Ok so they say one play don't make a difference well lets take a look. They stick with the pass interference gives the Lions a 1st down but not at the 28 from the PI but all the way down to the 13 because the also should have called Dez for unsportsmanlike conduct. So with 7 minutes left the Lions have 1st down in the redzone and i can say pretty confidently that the Lions would score there and run off atleast 3 or 4 more minutes. A touchdown would have sealed the win and a FG puts them up by 6 and they probably start at there own 20 with like 3 minutes to go. Something was really fishy with this whole thing. I tell you what makes for a better story for the week, Detroit going to Seattle and the Panthers going to Lambeau or will you be able to generate more revenue from I don't know maybe a week long talk of the ice bowl and 2 of the top selling teams.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

NFL admits refs missed Cowboys holding Suh on crucial play

If the holding had been called, the Cowboys would have faced fourth-and-16 from their own side of the field and surely would have punted. Instead, the completion gave the Cowboys first-and-10 at the Lions’ 21-yard line, and they went on to score the go-ahead touchdown with 2:32 left in the fourth quarter.

The refs totally screwed up by picking up that flag.

Jerry got what he wanted.

Shame it was at the expense of The Lions.

Saturday Night The Panthers are going to shock the world then they will make their plans to come to Green Bay after Sunday.

(g) Initiating contact with an opponent by shoving or pushing off, thus creating a separation in an attempt to catch a pass.

Pettigrew had armed extended creating separation which also ended up becoming the facemask.

(a) Contact by a player who is not playing the ball that restricts the opponent’s opportunity to make the catch.

This is in reference to incidental contact "WR and DB running and tangle their feet" If the DB is looking back playing the ball, NO PI. If he isn't than they would call him for PI.

The only thing that prevented the WR from having a chance to catch the ball, was it hitting the defender in the back.

As to your other point... You first said you agreed with picking up the flag because the rules don't state a defender has to turn around and play the ball. You now say if there is contact then turning around or not turning around matters. But this was always being discussed in the context of contact having occurred in Hitchens' grabbing Pettigrew's arm, so you don't come off as consistent here.

The contact restricted Pettigrew's ability to come back for the ball. Without it, he may well pull off the catch. The only factor was not just the ball hitting the defender in the back.
