These are the two hottest, probably the two best teams in the league right now. The Packers at home, though, will win, and I think it will be another big win. I see it as a shoot out for a while, with one team or the other turning it over several times - that won't be Aaron Rodgers; It might be Brady, as Dom's defense can't stop the Pats, but definitely can be opportunistic.

27-24 Packers at the half;

51-31 Packers - final.

We have to get pass rush especially from the inside where Brady feels most comfortable.

Anyone watching the Eagles? Sanchez is looking decent again. Maybe our defense really was playing pretty good against him.

I've been thinking about how to stop the Patriots... I want to play a conservative coverage with Brady/Gronk but they got a good running game that might eat the Packers defense alive, and if you focus on the running game Brady will beat you.

So I'm thinking the best way to stop the Patriots is to go high risk in coverage on the outside WRs, maybe leaving them man to man at times on an island and focus putting pressure on the backfield for both pass rush and run stop and double coverage on Gronk.

The two teams that have beat the Patriots (Dolphins and Chiefs) have very good pass rush and run defense. Packers can have the pass rush... but have had trouble in the run defense.

But TE Gronk is their main target... (and watch out for back-up TE threat Timothy Wright).

WR Edelman is their high number of pass with great routes guy.
WR LaFell is their long ball, down the field guy even though he doesn't have the best speed.
Let Williams and Shields man up against them...

The Packers defense is always getting schooled by good to elite QB's and Tom Brady falls into that category. Patriots also have a good rushing attack, which is something the Packers haven't been able to stop via defense. The Packers will go 7 - 1 at home this season.

The Packers can't afford to be out coached or game planned.

They have the talent on the field to win this game if they are put in a position to win.

Might as well not even play the game and avoid potential injuries.

I think the Patriots will win this game. But I would not be shocked if the Packers win it. I think the biggest difference is that the Patriots have a better defense than the Packers. I expect the Packers to hang close, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Patriots steal the game in the last few drives or maybe even the fourth quarter. I really don't think the Packers defense will be able to consistently limit Brady and company, especially at the end of the game when it matters most. The Packers must play at the top of their game in order to win, and I'm not quite convinced they will. This game could be the motivation the Packers need. It very well could be the last game the Packers lose in the 2014 season.

But what are the Packers going to do to stop the NE offense?
Pats will run the ball until the Packers can stop them and that will be tough.
Patriots also put a lot of points on the board with their specials unit.
Can the Packers win this game? Absolutely!
But they must bring their absolute A game in all phases. Any weakness and the Patriots will expose you.
