Back to Joe- As soon as he intentionally wrote one rumor sentence fabricated out of thin air he became a liar. Of that, there should be no doubt. It's quite simple.

ISTM there is a moral difference between spreading rumors and lying.

I enjoy rumors. I don't consider them much on the "journalism" scale, but they're fun especially in the offseason when one is starved for action.

But spreading something one *knows* to be false crosses the line.

I tend to see gray areas a lot more often than most (legal training will do that to you). But this isn't one of those, not for me.

I can't claim to be George Washington. But expediency doesn't justify the lie. And if you are selling yourself as a provider of information, it isn't even really expedient.

Just easy and short-sighted.

I definitely like the fact that he admitted it. I have no problems with a Jorie Arrigo. . going forward. I respect the admitting thing.

I am almost positive I was banned from Packer Chatters lol and it only took me like a month to do it, and it wasn't just a small timeout they banned me for a few days and 5 monutes after they let me back in banned me for life lol

They loved my views of my favprite GM 😆
