My point is that believe it or not journalists usually name their sources and report things that actually happen

Sorry I have seen hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of stories that say something to the effect of "Front Office Source", Some unnamed GM from another unnamed team, an unnamed scout from some unnamed team.

When it is back room stuff there are more unnamed sources than named BY FAR.

Personally, I think more info, even if some has to be smoke, is better than less, and that is why I appreciate Joe and his sharing of info.

He was always a self-promoter. I got no problem with it, except so many took a lot of his b.s. as gospel. He DID LIE to many at his home site, and he apparently has few regrets.
