Disappointed.

It genuinely seems that Mike had NO backup plan in case Aaron went down.

Certainly looks like Aaron was worth the contract we signed him to now...money well spent.

And....we get down the field with passes,
and when we get into the ref zone, 2 runs
that gain nothing.
If mm is calling the plays, he should fire
himself.
If AR doesn't come back NOW, the season
will be over in week 17.

Didn't like the play calling at all. Yes, we do need a run game. But you can't go out there and run it that much when the Giants know it's coming and are stopping it. Especially when Tolzien is moving the ball through the air. Have some confidence in your QB, he doesn't look that bad, minus the interceptions.

Then again, a lot of our offense is a run/pass option. So I'm not sure how much of it was on McCarthy. Could have been Tolzien misreading the defenses. I'm just speculating though.

Tolzien does show some nice down field throws. Unfortunately those INTs are going to kill us. I am wondering if the conservative play-calling in the red zone had more to do with the mess ups last week while in the red zone.

No Rodgers, no wins.
We will get whipped by the Vikings next week.
AR covered up alot of our defense's weaknesses,
as we feel we can stay in any game as long
as he is our QB.
Without him, we are done. That's been proven by
the last 3 games.

But on a more serious note, it's hard enough to find good starters, good back-ups on top of that can be even tougher.

The Packers expected one of back-ups QBs to step up... they didn't. And Packers had to go to plan B... when plan B failed they went to plan C and D. Plan C failed... plan D is working out sort of okay. But when you have that many plans fail, it's hard to find someone good right away and that more than one basket... that's 4 baskets... but the first 3 had a hole in the bottom of them and the eggs fell out of them. There was one basket left and they grabbed Flynn so now two again.

Wes Hodkiewicz ‏@WesHod 4m

Interesting from Jason Pierre-Paul on Pick-6: Honestly, I called it before it even happened in the huddle, and sure enough that was the play

Wes Hodkiewicz ‏@WesHod 6m

JPP: I read the formation, the tight end, how he was set and I caught the ball.
