We had grant for a million years that would run right into our guys or the other guys and stop dead ... Only time grant did good was with sweeps that the packers were known for but Mike McCarthy forgot to look up the great Vinces playbook.

As much as I liked Grant for being good enough for us to maintain balance, I also felt that there was a step up.
Taking into consideration how offenses work, an Adrian Peterson would have to come at the expense of the passing game, in my opinion.
With Eddie Lacy, I feel that passing can still be the focal point of our attack but the runs are much more emphatic in maintaining a semblance of balance. I haven't been excited by a Packer runner in a long time, but Eddie Lacy has performed like an absolute behemoth and is one of my favorite current Packers.
Loved the pick, and by god it's been fruitful.
