Porforis, then we put trained armed guards in each school.
That would greatly lower any possible violent crime.
Yes, it would cost. But if saving kids means taking away some music or sports activity to pay for it, which is more important?
It could be done, and it would work.

When you are talkig about someone that is 100% proven guilty of a crime like this, should they NOT have their life taken away?
I'm a conservative......yet if someone breaks into my home, and threatens me or my wife, am i supposed to just let them do whatever they want? Should i NOT shoot them if they try to attack because i'm a conservative?

Conservatives go off to war to protect our country. Should they not do that either? After all, it may mean killing someone.

Furthermore, how far do we take such a law (not that you were the one to suggest it)? If someone's legally carrying a firearm via concealed carry and gets into an altercation with someone but never touches the gun, should he be killed? What if he starts a fight out of his own stupidity, is getting his head pounded in, and pulls a gun to end the fight before his brains are splattered over the pavement? Does killing someone in either of these circumstances seem reasonable and just?

I think all that is being asked for by concerened citizens is that automatic weapons are eliminated, yet right away all the freaks come out with their rhetoric about doing away with the 2nd ammendment. It's this over-reaction and refusal for a discussion that irritates me, and it is the same thing with the need to raise our current taxes.

Gee whiz, I guess I've just been silly. Here they just wanted to take machine guns away from private citizens.

Er, what does WIFR stand for?

But I understand your confusion. My wife was actually watching the ABC station WTVO at the time.

wpr (12h) : Tomorrow is almost here.
packerfanoutwest (12h) : would you want him if Pack needed a back up qb?
packerfanoutwest (13h) : JW is done......stick a fork in him
Zero2Cool (14h) : You should. He goes to AFC that helps Packers.
packerfanoutwest (23-Apr) : don't care
Zero2Cool (22-Apr) : Lions shopping Jameson Williams?
packerfanoutwest (22-Apr) : Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst says Green Bay’s roster can win, even without adding anyone in the draft.

wpr (17-Apr) : 7 days
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
