I've heard that from others and seen writers make articles on the subject claiming Green and Benson are a lot a like and that Starks and Grant were a lot alike (you didn't talk about Starks and Grant but others have)...

But I just don't see it... other than the dreads by one side and short hair from the other...

Benson and Starks are physical runners who pound their way and grind it out... Green and Grant are the quick/speed backs that can try to grind but nether really have great power but can burn you if you give them too much room to work with.

Grants speed is underrated I agree. But all 🇲🇲 's RB's are power backs.

Now on Green and Benson.

I just think through their Running styles they are very similar. Just they way they move with their legs through the tackles. They make me think they're the same person just different #'s. I'm just really intrigued with what Green has done, it gives me relief where we can pickup were Benson left off.

Green's a speed guy.

Benson and Grant are between the tackles guys.

Starks can get around the corner, but he's more a between the tackles guy than Green is.

Grant tends to get stronger as the year goes on. When everybody else wears down in December, Grant can get around the corner.

Grant was mainly a one cut quick guy, (and then would make a second cut on the second level and go to his speed). At Hawaii Green was mainly a speed back who would drop the hammer on college DBs (lot smaller than him). Jackson is a power blocker, but soft runner and seemed good for mainly 3rd downs. Starks has lower a shoulder on NFL 300 pound DL men and tried to power through, has knocked a couple LBers on their butts... same with Benson.

Combine 40 times (other than Benson, had to use his pro-day, don't see combine time, pro-day times are normally faster than combine times)...

Benson: 4.62
Starks: 4.50
Green: 4.45
Grant: 4.43
Saine: 4.40

(WR Cobb's combine 40 time was 4.46, and he was 30 pounds lighter than most of these guys.)

Hmmm, if we shall add another back.. this one might be of interest. Keiland Williams, formerly of the Lions as of this morning. Added benefit could be to pump information about him on the Lions. ;)
