Hey buckeypackfan,

I know you have a bigger interest in him being a big part of our defense simply from the OSU tie. Don't get me wrong, I like the guy just fine, and I think he is a decent MLB, just not a great MLB.

Zero INTs last season. Only 1.5 sacks, in a blitz heavy scheme. Zero forced fumbles. He hasn't forced a fumble since 2007. He has a total of 3 sacks since 2008.

I think we all want more dynamic play from the MLB position and the QB of our defense. I'm just going by what I see. Sure, the guy makes a lot of tackles, but he looks a step slow to react in pass coverage and is not shutting the run down at the line, like he is supposed to do. Only 8 TFL in the past two years out of a total of 195. I've got nothing against him personally, but his production is not up to his level of pay.

That's one where we wish the Packers can do an undo. (That's command-Z on the Mac).

Certain players, and everyone knows who they are, it doesn't matter if they play well or if they play bad, some on this forum are going to blame them for all the problems The Packers have.

Here's the difference between me and others, the day A.J. Hawk leaves is the day I start rooting for whoever it is that replaces him.

Just like I do with EVERY player that makes the 53 man roster EVERY year.

I see in another thread where Hawk made a wrong read on the Gore TD run and took a bad angle, a mistake, well nobody's perfect, but this will be the only play that is talked about for the next 16 weeks or until he makes another mistake.

My question is why did The 49r's have the ball inside The Packers 30 in the 1st place?

Cobb had just ran back the punt for a TD, cutting the lead to 8.

As bad as the defense had looked most of the game, THEY AS A WHOLE, had just stopped the 49r's and forced a punt.

The momentum had completley swung The Packers way.

The next play of the game was the "deciding play".

Haven't heard a word from anyone about that next play.

Pick and Choose is no way to support your team.

Nobody is perfect, but unless a player absolutely "quits" on his team, I'm going to root for the guys on the field.

There seems to be no leadership except for Rodgers. But no OL to lead that group, same for receivers(Driver on the bench) and backs. At least I can't see any. The D seems to have no one at all, I think we lost that with Collins.

I hope the team was humbled this week, I know I sure was and I'm just a fan. I have a lot of new found respect for that defense especially Aldon Smith.
