Well if you remember back in 2010, we had them the final 6 games of the season.

Last 2 regular games and all 4 playoff games.

Kinda became The Packers lucky charms!!!!

I'm not gonna complain as long as packers keep winning when they are announcing.

I don't really listen to the announcers no matter who they are. (I have to when it is the radio.) I let them ramble on and say what they want to say. I am watching the play. If there is a great play or if their voices sound excited I will mentally tune in. Otherwise I miss 80% of the babble.

My wife will ask me what did they just say and I have to tell her I don't know.

The only time his bothers me is when the NFL channel is doing a sounds of the game rebroadcast and they splice in what a player or coach was thinking during a play. By the time I realize it the 30 sec sound bite is almost over.

Gah, once again the Packers game isn't broadcast anywhere remotely close to me. How I became a fan of a team so far north I'll never know...

That's what I'm guessing from the map. I live in north east Iowa so our "local" fox station is out of Rochester. Looks like I'm in the same boat.

NFL Sunday Ticket is definitely the best ~$220 bucks I spend each year, as an out-of-state Packer fan.

And the NFL gamepass ($275 in Germany, cheaper or for free in other european countries) is definitely even better Weeeee!! No blackouts, every game from every team live, as live and in the shortened version with only the plays (about 30 minutes for a game), the Redzone Channel every Sunday, NFL Network 24/7 ... It ain't get any better than that. Thanks to the NFL for thinking across the border.

Meanwhile... I am stuck with comcast.

They used to have team-specific packages. Now I just need to hope the Seahawks play at a diff time.

It's gotta really suck to live in Northwestern Wisconsin and get stuck with the Vilequeens every week. As a kid, had grandparents that lived in Barron, back before cable the only stations they could get in clear were from the Cities. Reception from Eau Claire wasn't the best. As of 1993 my aunt in Turtle Lake still didn't have access to cable on Horseshoe lake. No idea how it is now.

Yup. And add that onto a 5 tuner HD DVR, and one only misses any football if they want to. It's not the cheapest thing in the world, but well worth the ~$20/month, when spread about an entire year.

That is what frustrates me about the package. They should replay the games all week long or have them in que and let you watch them on demand. Why be so stingy about it? You may want to watch more than one game and don't have a dvr. They put out these games with an eye dropper and are afraid that you may get more than your are paying them for the service.
