The Packers have made no secret this offseason that 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick's big game in a playoff-ending loss at San Francisco has forced them to re-think things on defense. I like Datone Jones's attitude and apparent intelligence. Even more than that, though, I like the fact that the Packers drafted him. How much exactly that had to do with controlling Kaepernick (and Griffin, Wilson, etc.), I don't know, but IMO, the benefit of drafting him will extend far beyond just stopping running QBs. I mean full service - pass rush, other runners - he is just what we need, not just another big fat clod, as some hoped the Packers would draft.
