Kuhn's getting to be 30, no? Thought he was losing a step late last year.

You bring up a good point. With these two guys added to the group everyone on the team in that group is on notice for sure.

ya I agree - he didn't have a great year last year ... still don't want to discount him thou - he was a good run blocker and short yardage guy (lots of nice TDs)

This could be my favorite pick of the draft. Hard to pass on Lacy earlier I understood them taking him but getting both of them was amazing. I would if every once in a while they will go with both of them in the backfield. Should have have double TE or 3 WR when they do?

Going to have a nice 1-2-3 punch with Lacy, Franklin and Harris in the backfield.

Cannot wait.

If I were Starks or Green, I'd really focus on pass catching and/or pass blocking this offseason because it'll probably be the only way one of them makes the team at this rate.

A surprising degree of negativity or at least lack of enthusiasm for Lacey in some posts here.

To me, this says they are not 100% sold on Harris being as good as he looked late last season. I certainly don't see Lacey as a fullback, although I doubt that's what you guys were talking about. Using Lacey in short yardage, yeah, but I see him as a 3-down back, although in rotation with Harris and/or Franklin.

Shades of 2003?! Three capable starting rushers on the roster? I LIKE.

I disagree. I think this pick says they are 100% committed to becoming a bigger tougher team. See what I did there? I took your negative and flipped into a positive.

This has nothing to do with Harris, and everything to do with Starks and Green being so unavailable and inconsistent.

We actually have the beginnings of a power running game in Green Bay. Amazing! This may be just what McCarthy needed to get more creative, committed to going to the run. Now, it looks like we have the horses to run all day on anyone. Lots of work to do with our OL in run blocking, but I like where this is going. Franklin in this rotation will be awesome!

I agree - I might be more excited about our run game this year then our passing (well our passing game is getting boring ... but this might help it out if teams have to respect our runners now).

and like you said p2w - get our Oline to do good with run blocking; we need to run nice screens like the packers used to do with blockers running down field.

So Zero - whom do you think will get more TDs this year? lacey or franklin?
and if you think franklin care to do a friendly bet on it?

Trick question? There is not a Lacey on the team, so Franklin wins by default! :P

I'll jump in on a wager and take Lacy.

What shall we bet?
