Avg of 9.5M RT @JosinaAnderson: A source tells me that Greg Jennings got a 5-year deal with a max value of $47.5 million, $18 million gtd.

The source adds G. Jennings' contract has a minimum value of $27 million over the 1st 3 years and a max of $28.5 if GJ goes to t/ Pro Bowl.

The Vikings would have been foolish to let Jennings leave without a deal. They were desperate, imo, and basically traded Percy Harvin for Jennings, a 1st, 7th, and future third. Not a bad deal for them.

Just puked.

Barf. At least he can show them what a Super Bowl ring looks like. It will be the closest they'll get to having one of their own.

Holy sodomy Batman. Congratulations Greg - glad the Packers didn't have to pay you that kind of money.

play2win ... remember this when Greg Jennings gets cut and says he'd have given the Packers a hometown discount when being interviewed by a Packers writer lol :P

"According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, the new contract Jennings agreed to with the Vikings tonight is a five-year deal worth $47.5 million, with $18 million guaranteed. That also includes a minimum value of $27 million over the first three years.

That’s a great deal for a wideout who will turn 30 in September, except for one thing.

The Packers offered him more.

As we noted Wednesday (it only seemed like two weeks ago), the Packers offered a deal worth “roughly $10 million a year,” according to Jason Wilde of ESPNWisconsin.com."

How many years though? And was any of it guaranteed? He's got $18 mill guaranteed in this deal. I doubt the Packers deal was any more than 3 years and very little guaranteed money...

Perhaps his sister didn't like the Pack offer.

Cobb will be a better slot receiver than Jennings anyway. We have Jones and Jordy on the outside. How would having Jennings eat up our cap help the Packers long term? As long as #12 is at QB, I'm not worried about our passing game.

Time for Jennings to Ponder life with Shitty QBs on a Shitty team. He is going to learn the hard way, of what it is like to not have other receivers around him and a Great QB throwing to him.

I predict a rude awakening.

No more trips to Hawaii. no more trips to the post season. jennings signs in middysunda and is never heard of again. NFL officials checked local lakes for evidence of foul play and they found none whatsoever fair or foul.

I think he took a stab at the Packers in his little presser. This was funny...

Jennings: "From a football perspective, when you start to age and get years under your belt, you want to go to a team that's a contender."

Vikings. Lakes. And no foul play?

...that doesn't make sense.
