I just spent part of my lunch watching Friendly Persuasion. Haven't seen it in years.
It is on youtube, I am going to have to watch the full movie tonight or tomorrow. |

you know, some of his "acting issues" was the cheesy scripts that he had to work with. They wanted Bond to be a little more tongue in cheek than the ones before and after. My wife liked him when he played Beau Maverick opposite James Gardner. I only saw part of one episode so I can't say for sure. I did see him play Simon Templar in the 1960's tv series The Saint. That wasn't too bad. I think his style played better in the UK and Commonwealth nations that here. |
