Exactly the premise of this topic being started and essentially asking the same question.

Why?? (everytime I see Why? I think of the Nancy Kerrigan audio clip)

En kyllä ymmärrä mikä viehätys on laittaa jotain kommentteja sellaisella kielellä mitä kukaan muu ei ymmärrä. Oho, kyllähän tämä sittenkin kasvattaa omaa miehistä kokoani.

"Engels" = "English" in Dutch?

Figures. Only the Dutch would name us after someone who was infatuated with Marx.

I don't understand these mega-geezers who insist on working past 80. Heck, I'd quit by 60 if I could.

It depends if you really love your job.

Me? I don't love my job. I do it because I'm good at it so I get paid well. Yes, Dakota, I'm a slut.

However, if I was a photographer for Penthouse and occasionally slept with some of the models, I'd work until I drop dead. I've never seen hoo hoos in my software career. How lame is that? Working software is dumb.

You can register a relationship with the magistrate and get all the benefits of being married. The church won't acknowledge your partnership however.

The church? Are you sure? You might want to do a little research. We got so many churches here from the far left to the far right. I personally know of several local churches that would marry a gay couple. I know of a pro-gay priest (really cool guy). I also know some churches that despise gays and believe it's best to "convert" them to heterosexuality. We got the full range here.

I'm surprised you don't over there.

Well....so....i've been told that today's standards are so much better then the past. Did i ever say that beating gays or black people was right? Nope. But let's look at today's murder rate and violent crime rate and compare it to the past. Still think today's standards are so great?
Yes, there were bad things done in the past. Just as there are today. Just this past August, on opening day of Wisconsin's state fair, a large group of black teens randomly attacked and beat innocent white people. When one of the teens was asked why he chose white people, he said "They are an easy target". Just pure racism....but mostly ignored by the left. Where were Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton? Why didn't they show up here and blast these punks? Oh......i think you KNOW the answer. But today's standards are SOO high!
If you believe the Bible is the word of God, as i do, you know why i say gay sex is wrong. If you don't believe the Bible, or think you can pick and choose which parts you want to believe, then i guess you can say "The 10 commandments" are just "The 10 suggestions".

Like 95% are either lutheran or atheists. Calling the lutheran church "the church" is pretty accurate.

To summarize, no religious groups in Finland allow same sex marriage.
