I really liked this pick last year for the long haul. His problems seemed to be injury related so if he can get and stay healthy he could be a pleasant surprise this year and into the future.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

I agree PackerTraxx. I have high hopes for Andrew Datko. The level of competition on our OL is the best we've seen in years. Datko was definitely a pick for a couple years down the road based on raw talent at OT.

We should put up a poll for who we all think will be the starting right tackle for the Packers come the new season.

Does Datko have what it takes or is he just going to be that back up?

Question on Datko is the shoulder. He might back up LT though.

Having had surgery on both shoulders (my right one by a Packers orthopedic surgeon) I see this as a chronic problem for Datko.
If he was whole I think he would be a tough sumbitch who would challenge for a starting job.
