Phoenix - The very fact the Packers renegotiated DE Johnny Jolly's contract to a reasonable $710,000 and kept him on their 80-man off-season roster is proof enough that they are open to give him a second chance.

It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get back up again.

Same here. Could be just what the D-line needs. Talk about catching a break if he works out.

We need some good karma. Not much to lose.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

He was solid at stuffing the run and batted down a lot of balls in 2009. If he can come close to that again, he'd be worth the minimum we signed him to right now. If he doesn't have "it" any longer after missing a few seasons, you can release him at the end of camp and not be any worse off. Bring him in and see what he's got left in the tank.

The Packers can really use a break at this position. The weakest part of the team and filled with injuries the past few seasons. Hoping for the sake of that unit as well as for the sake of Johnny Jolly's career that he works out well and is putting that jersey back on for the Packers next season.
