I would be happier signing their other player cut Safety George Wilson. He was set to make 3 million this year...could be picked up cheaper than that.

Sure. To a desk or coaching job, or a one-day ceremonial contract to retire a Packer.

No. if he can't make it In buffalo, I doubt he has
much value left.
I like him, as he took time for us fans. but I don't
think he'd be even as good as he was when
he left here.

I do, I so miss the samurai celebration after routine plays; and watching his light in the ass carcass getting swallowed up by blockers. Sarcasm No wonder McKenzie had to get the hell out after 4th and 26.

The mediocrity that Packer fans have had to recognize over the years as leaders of our defense is astonishing. But then again, there are actually Packer fans who thought Darlene Sharpier was a good safety.

I never said he was an All Pro LBer. I never said I liked his stuns. He was what he was. I wasn't disappointed when he was gone. I liked him better when he was not a Packer.

I wish him well.

As for Sharpless, never of fan of his was I. Too much attitude. Too little production.

There were only two real complaints I had about Nick...

1. His inability to fight off a block forcing him to attack more often from the trail position than not.

2. His inability to properly time his over the top celebrations.. not that he did them, but his timing seemed to be poorer than my checking account in the winter. That is saying something. ;)

he did just fine in buffalo. new coaching staff is just cleaning house. ask the buffalo fans, he was pretty much their best LB.

Barnett was a good player at OLB in Buffalo. But he's getting older and had too big a paycheck. I wouldn't mind seeing some team give him another deal.

I don't understand all the hate in this thread. Barnett was pretty liked back when he played here. Some people on the old forum even made threads on how he should've made the Pro Bowl instead of Brian Urlacher if my memory serves me right. That was crazy talk but before the switch to 3-4 he was an above average starting linebacker.
This is a placeholder

I don't hate Barnett. As i said, i like the guy. But he's alot older, and i doubt the Packers would want to take him back.
He didn't leave under the best terms (the SB photo incident).
