PFTQuote:“Joe, how you doing. Remember me?” Jennings said. “He’s one of my favorite coaches. Obviously he jokes a lot, little subtle things here and there, but he’s a great coach to have. He was a great coach to play for. He’s one of those guys that you can have a relationship outside of football. As a player you admire a coach when he actually opens himself up like that.” Edited by staff Saturday, February 2, 2013 8:50:39 PM(UTC)

I'm OK wit it. but if he signs pretty cheap, like Cullen Jenkins did... I may have some gripe. anybody else want to keep Finley on? I don't like the idea of losing 2 recievers in the same offseason when our passing game is really all we have.

Jennings is a good guy, and I wish all the best to him if he decides to go to Miami. Just don't do what one other guy did and go to a hated division rival.
We're probably getting a 3rd round compensation pick for him anyway, which is plenty. |

$46 million in free cap space. Wouldn't be surprised if they bring Jennings in to give their young quarterback more options (the only option) to throw to.
He will most certainly get his payday if he were to go there and I would be overly joyous if he went to a non-contender, AFC team....OVERLY JOYOUS. |

Lets see.. South Beach tweet from his sister and now gushing about Philbin. Sure it is nothing more than keeping his options open and probably answering a question.. but I would have no issue with Jennings landing in Miami. |

I don't care where Greg Jennings signs. Vikings, Bears, Lions, Cowboys, Raiders ... I'm more concerned with whom will be a Packer and they need some help. |

I will always remember Greg for that long TD while running with a broken leg.

I recall that. Wasn't that the day that Cris Collinsworth uttered that legendary phrase "Fuck you, Gumby" on national TV? |

Greg Jennings Broken Leg - oh shit, Darren Sharper! As Pack93z said, his sister revealed his intentions in December. He wants to be overpaid to play for a marginal rookie QB in front of 30,000 bandwagon fans on an irrelevant franchise. To each his own. |

Miami would be perfect for him and he knows it. He is going to cash in. He was a good player for us and I will miss him, but at this point, our team could be improved by spending his monies on another FA player at another position. DL or LT. Maybe a LB or S.

All I can say is Bye Greg enjoy Miami. They have the extra money and will overpay for a wr on his downside and can't stay healthy. He was a perfect system wr for us and he won't do much once he leaves here.

I agree with you on most points, although "can't stay healthy" is a big phrase for a WR who's missed a substantial amount of time just one season in his 7 year career. I think that he's benefitted a lot from our system and that he will be overpaid because of it... But that Miami, with Philbin, would be just as good a fit. He won't have Rodgers to throw to him, but Philbin does know how to use him and he will be a good fit. I think you'll hear his name after he leaves us... If he hpicks the right team for his talents. |
