JSOnline has a poll- Which team would you rather see miss the playoffs: Vikings or Bears?

After almost 3000 votes it is 51% vikings 49% bears. living in IL I had to chose the bears. With GB playing the vikings Sunday I figure that has something to do with the results. The fans for both teams are annoying. Around here viking fans are more annoying than bear fans.

Grudgingly my B-I-L had to admit that he wants GB to win Sunday. I laughed. I told him to tell his young son to cheer for GB as well. My nephew was not thrilled about it. He still is not so sure.

For me.. it is simply... I loathe the ground the Bears walk upon. I enjoy the banter of the Vikings.

Bears.

I've always hated the Vikes more, with their stupid Nordic call everytime they have a 1st down, their artificially piped in noise, jack-ass players like Randy Moss and the loveboat, and them stealing all of our ex-players (Longwell, Sharper, Burt)...so many more reasons to loathe them.

Rather see the Vikings miss, no doubt.

Earlier in the year, Bears. With a chance to knock the vikings out of the playoffs and prevent APete from getting the record, AND getting the #2 seed all in one week, I'd have to say Vikings. Anyways, it's very unlikely but possible that neither the Bears nor Vikings will make the playoffs. Wouldn't that be sweet? :)

Eh.... The Bears... must not be underestimated. The Vikings might have a little worse QB than da bears. Rolling On The Floor Laughing

Looking at the Playoff race the Bears or Vikings would have to win 2 games and play us at Lambeau Field in the Championship again to even face us.. Who in the forseable future can predict they will?

Who would I rather beat? The Vikings.

I hate the Bears more. But I actually respect the Bears. I'd rather they make the playoffs over the Minnesota Little Swimmers any day.

Well since the Bears really underachieved this year and the Vikings seriously overachieved - the Vikings deserve to be in the playoffs. With that said, I'm really going to enjoy watching our Packers steamroll the Vikings on Sunday, knocking them out of the playoffs.

If only Napoleon could get the Kitties riled up to knock off the Bears, we could still beat the Vikings and they would be able to go to the playoffs. But let's face it, Schwartz sucks, and the Kitties are back to being who we knew they were.

Although the Packers can't miss the playoffs, the best case scenario is....
Vikings win, San Francisco loses, and the Seahawks win.
This would make the Packers and Seahawks both 11-5 division winners, and the tie would be broken by....yes, you guessed it.ThumpUp

No it wouldn't. Your scenario would just lead to this:

First: Kick the shit out of your purple ass at wildcard weekend
Second: Take revenge and show the Seahawks who "won" both games in week 3 and in the divisional playoffs
Third: Get to SB XLVII, regardless wether home or away.

I can live with it. Big Grin

You forget that this generation of Packer fans haven't been mind fucked to thinking the whole world is against like Viking fans that witnessed the first Hail Mary, when Drew Pearson was interfered with while hauling in a beautiful eephus pass from Roger Staubach.
