While maybe not impressive to most teams, relative to the other 5 games we played, I was impressed by 5 penalties for 45 yards. And I don't recall a single one coming at a critical time of the game. Coach has been talking about the correctable things for 3 weeks now and they seemed to finally show some improvement. The team just didn't look as sloppy today. That's a good sign.

not TOO impressive to beat the 'Hawks with a backup QB...though the past few losses were really lost to penalties...so yeah, great job on that front. i think we coulda gained another 7 pts, at least another 3...but Rodgers was obviously like "dudes. i'm in PAIN. let's kneel it and go home."

Grant? what can i say? at least he gained POSITIVE yardage this week, but 33 carries and less than 100 yds? that's just sad. really sad. will he be the fluke of the year?

Rodgers? f*cking champ. i can't believe how tough and precise he is. PLEASE stay healthy, my friend.

Jennings? he stays healthy he'll be a shoe-in for a HOF'er spot in a few decades.

Even if Rodgers was not in pain. Unwritten rule is if the game is in hand take a knee and don't run the score up. Most coaches follow that but not all.

Yep, unless you wear cutoff sleeves and think you are a god.
I think when there's enough will and aggression, there's no shortage of talent either.

I remember Ditka running the score up on GB one time. Really made me mad. I think that was during the Forest Gregg Era and they had a lot of dirty play on both sides back then.

Sure it seemed like grant was running for 1-2 yards a carry but when it came down too 2nd/3rd and short most of the time he came through and got us a fresh first down. Not too mention with all the carries he had he didnt fumble and we all know that is a problem this year for him.

Evidently when he's not taping the other team he turns back into that crappy coach who got fired by the Browns.

It is amazing how his patchwork defense of the past couple of years seems to be struggling without the help of the camera, isn't it.
