Definitely seemed like there were at least 3 or 4 sacks we should've had, where the dude just walked away from our guys.

We usually had several guys in the backfield at any one time. The problem was they looked like they were more concerned about avoiding collisions amongst themselves than actually putting the quarterback on the turf. There were so many plays our defense looked tentative and confused today. They kind of wandered about aimlessly.

We have a dominant run defense. Too bad other teams do more than just run against us.

Pass rush is improving, though not yet getting home. Run D looks great overall. I think comparisons with teams like Denver or NO are dead ends; compared with last season the defense is improved, and should continue to get better.

We have gotten pressure, we have a problem sealing the deal. Either just a split second late like Kampman today. Or the rush by passes the QB, which also happened today. That to me is because of the 2 Dline rush. We need that 3rd Dlineman to be in the QB face and to be there when Jenkins, Jolly get upfield.

I would like to see us go 3 Dline more. We are in Nickle way to often. At this point, I am getting tired of every QB we play having time. We are putting extreme pressure on the secondary to cover far to long. Time to change something. Instead of playing coverage, time to go on offense on defense.

When we would go to nickel, put Jolly, Raji, Jenkins in and set them lose. Then we have the choice of Kampman or Matthews or both. But keep that pressure in the QB face.

I still don't think the defense has cost us a game all year.
How many long drives did the Bucs have today? ONE? You give teams the ball in the red zone repeatedly and even Lombardi's teams will have a hard time winning games.
