Sorry I flipped it, I was going from memory, the Packers is 1350 as stated in the link, and the jets 1st is 950 plus their second makes it 1360, either way i was trying to establish the point that theirs only a 10 point difference in the packers 1st and the Jets 1st and 2nd.

Your mock may have been shot out of the water with Detroit getting Peterson. Looks like Detroit is back to Smith or Stafford.

As for the trade. If Thompson can pull of a trade of this fashion, I would not be upset at all. 3 first day picks that have a chance of coming in and starting would fill one dream.

That's not true at all. If the Lions were interested in Curry prior to Peterson, they'd be interested in him after as well.

eh im not so sure about that, i mean isn't Peterson supposed to be making a big chunk of change this season? You think they'd wanna be paying three linebackers big money (Simms, Peterson, potentially Curry)?

Honestly I think the smartest thing for them to do would be to grab an olinemen with the pick. Wont matter whose throwing for em if he's on the ground all day X_X

I thought I read the Hawks will be eating some of Petersons salary. Either way, the Lions need LB and need to take the best player available. With their history of drafting offensive players in round one, ... lol. ๐Ÿ™‚

I don't think this trade sways them one bit in their draft selection. Peterson is 30 and if what I read and heard about him, he's already declining in production. The Lions need solid football players for the future, not declining athletes.

All i know is i don't see them taking a qb at #1 they don't have a good history with that or a wr lol. Specially with a strong qb class coming out next year i see them riding Cullpepper for this year.

Detroit picks up Julian Peterson LB -

So the need for Curry is alot less

I'm not so certain. Detroit has added 2 LBers now. So they now have Ernie Simms, Paris Lenon and Julian Peterson plus added depth. While the move for Peterson hasn't changed my opinion. I always believed Lions will go OT with their first pick. Jason Smith is probably the pick.

beast (5-Apr) : The 25th pick in the draft has been an offensive player since 2017, 2 TE, 2 WR, 1 RB, 1 OC

Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : No. Kill QB. No worries. ๐Ÿ˜
Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Stefon Diggs' trade will not be processed as a post-June 1 designation, so that is just over $31 million in dead cap this year.
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Bills trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Texans in exchange for a 2025 2nd-round pick. (via @rapsheet)
