I want Crabtree if he comes out and i'm not changing my mind. Crabtree to replace Jennings after he leaves or gets traded or if he does stay can you see that tandem for the next 5 years.

Why would we get rid of Jennings though? That would be one reason I would start hating Ted Thompson if he did that. And no, we shouldn't draft Crabtree, he isn't part of our needs. We need a DT or a DE.

I disagree. Bear in mind we will almost certainly be losing Martin, and Jones has shown himself to be unreliable due to injury. I think shoring up our receiving corps with an insurance pick is an excellent idea.

This was the first injury of Jones' career. How is he unreliable? He played a few games that he probably shouldn't have, and re-injured it. After re-agrivating it, he still played the next week more than one time this season.

It's not like he had a series of injuries, just the one PCL injury.

KC, STL and JAC got defensive lineman very early on in last years draft. If they pan out like they're projected, together with Orakpo, that would make some sick D-lines.

I also see him go to the Seahawks though, they need help on alot of places in their defense, but with Tatupu at LB and Trufant at DB as their stand-out players, a D-lineman seems like a logical choice.

That would leave us with who at 9th? Maybe Oher will be there? He has fallen off the radar on this forum it seems. Otherwise, I foresee a tradeback.

Don't forget, they have Patrick Kerney coming back. He has been on the IR much of this season.

Thanks Nonstop. I was stunned when I read what I wrote. I looked at it and saw that it was posted today... "man I do not remember writing that AT ALL"! I kept thinking, "What's the matter with me?" I read it again. Checked the date it was posted AGAIN... "What did I mean when I said that?" I was really concerned. It took me the longest time to scroll down and read your post.

What I think I said (But now I am not so sure.) was that GB is pretty deep at WR and that I don't want them to use their 1st choice on that position that would be too much like the Lions.
I also said that I do not blame dhazer for wanting Crabtree. He is a good player and he comes from T Tech which is the team DH follows.

In response to your comment on Martin, if he is gone that is fine. We will sure miss him. I don't think it is hard to replace 15 catches for 149 yards and 1 TD. They still have 4 solid wideouts and if Ted Thompson feels the need to pick up another WR he can do so in the 4-7th rounds.
