Once again i put all the blame on Mike McCarthy but wont say Rodgers drove us into position to win by completing 2 passes for 11 yards in the final 3 minutes.

No matter what you will not give the guy a break

If he misses those "2 " passes you and all the other trolls will be on him like white on rice and you fucking know it

He MADE the passes, so he got them in FG range

Once again i will explain we were already in fg range but you can grasp for your straws all you want. I said it in chat last night that we were already in FG range but i said if we move the ball 2 yards people will say look Rodgers drove us into range.

Look at the Facts Longtime. If i wanted to put any blame on Rodgers i would be pointing out scoring a whooping 3 pts in the 2nd half but i'm not. I put all the blame on Mike McCarthy for not letting the kid loose.

Dude, you're just embarrasing yourself at this point, which is sad because you've shown glimpses of rational thought before.

A 52-yarder is make-able. In a dome. 52 yards against swirling winds when it's -2 out is a bad idea. That pass to Jones was man-like, and it certainly improved the chance to make that field goal. Of course, when the line lets the other team get 2-3 yards into our backfield and the kicker hits it flat, the whole argument doesn't matter.

He did what we needed him to do (and possibly all he was allowed to do, depending on McCarthy's play calls and what his ability to change them might have been), and that's what people here are saying. And you know this, no matter how much you like to see if you can piss people off, "lol".

52 yards with wind and negative degree weather is not field goal range. Especially when you try drawing your comparison to the 52 yards in the Metrodome...thats just silly.

Have you ever been to Soldier Field or downtown Chicago during a night like last night?

Want a fact? They were on the 33 with a 3rd and 8..thats a 50 yarder

Were you or were you not one one the people bitching that Aaron Rodgers didnt get them closer then the 53 yarder vs the Viks? Lets remember that the att that night was INDOORS

Last night Rodgers gets them a completion for another 1st down, and 9 yards closer for a Fg attempt

Sorry but that my friend is driving them down, weather its 1 yard or 2, or 50..He got completions to keep drive alive, and further down the field...WHY is that so hard to understand?

You much rather have Mason attempt a 50 yarder in weather like it was? when in fact he had a hard time kicking a 53 yarder?

Neither of these two can come up with rational thoughts, ever.

May be they don't understand the Human element of trying to kick a 50 yarder in below zero and windy conditions and what kind of tricks it plays with your crazy mind...

Do you think that Mike McCarthy might be afraid of Rodgers throwing a game ending pick likes he's done several times before?

Maybe he's trying to build his confidence and take the pressure off by not putting it all on young AROD?

Maybe Mike is gun shy after that???

i'm a huge supporter of mccarthy/thompson, and i have been from the beginning. but, i will say this: being gun shy won't get you far in this league. NFL = No Fear League

Aaron Rodgers can't prove himself until McCarthy turns him loose and last night he took the ball out of his hands and told him I have more confidence in our anemic running game than I have in you.
The whole 2nd half McCarthy was playing "not to loose".

 Attention. All yo people who had Roddyboy on ignore, it appears you'll have to change that to Fred.
I don't see much need for getting to fired up. The way I see it is when the year started all I wanted to see from Aaron is that he's good enough that we have a future at QB. That's been more then proven to me so I got what I wanted out of this season. Sure playoffs would of been nice but it's his first year and he's shown we're set at the positon which is more then you can say about even the Bears or Vikings who are ahead of us. The deal about him not winning a close game is foolish. I see it a a string of bad breaks as it seems footballs full of. All of the sudden the same guy wins 5 last minute games next year and hardly changes anything so let's keep are head up and be proud Packer fans. :thumbright:

beast (5-Apr) : Probably not going to let Diggs walk away unless he's horrible... but according to reports he also might not be as good as he used to be.
beast (5-Apr) : The 25th pick in the draft has been an offensive player since 2017, 2 TE, 2 WR, 1 RB, 1 OC
Mucky Tundra (5-Apr) : Odd, why give up a 2025 2nd Rounder for him if you're just gonna let him walk?

Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : No. Kill QB. No worries. 😁
Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Stefon Diggs' trade will not be processed as a post-June 1 designation, so that is just over $31 million in dead cap this year.
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Bills trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Texans in exchange for a 2025 2nd-round pick. (via @rapsheet)
beast (3-Apr) : Using Patterson as RB and RB/WR tweener... so I think they also signed Patterson as a 3rd down RB, not just a kick returner as articles are
beast (3-Apr) : I think PFT missed the real Steelers/Patterson connection, Steelers new OC Arthur Smith has been Patterson's head coach the last 3 years
wpr (2-Apr) : It has Martha. I was stunned when I was in HS to learn Iowa was still playing half court BB in the 70's.
