Please explain BRNT i show facts and i haven't seen one not one post with facts from you. How long of a fg was it in MINN oh ya a 52 yarder i believe?

We had 3 minutes to go when we got the ball on the Bears 35 yd line, Why wouldn't Mike McCarthy try and move the damn ball? He has shown once again he doesn't have confidence in the kid (but enough confidence to give him $65 million) to keep moving the ball in. Once again i put all the blame on Mike McCarthy but wont say Rodgers drove us into position to win by completing 2 passes for 11 yards in the final 3 minutes. Keep grasping for the straws i more than probably anyone wanted to see them keep throwing and see if Rodgers could actually win us a game.( I started him on my fantasy football team lol)

But i will help you call me a troll did you see how they showed how bad Rodgers was in the final 5 minutes of close games but i guess those weren't right because thet didn't go with your opinion.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Fred tossed out what's called a "straw man," since no where did I ever say that Rodgers was throwing Hail Marys. But whatever.

Then you said, "As has already been pointed out to you, those are totally different situations. The interceptions have come when Aaron Rodgers has tossed it up for grabs between the 20s. In this situation, we were on the 18 and could have gotten a first down by getting to the 8. There was no tossing up to be done, just basic play-action passing."

I don't get this, why couldn't Aaron Rodgers have "tossed up" another interception late in the game, trying to make a comeback, as he's done before? Is it because they were in the red zone?

I don't understand you. "But I am just a caveman you logic (illogic) frightens and confuses me"

So what your telling me is completing 2-3 passes for 11 yds with over 2 minutes to go is now classified as a late minute drive? We are stretching for straws here. Yes Steve when we got the ball it would've been a 52 yarder but thats still fg range.

We got the ball with 3:05 left on the Bears 35 yd line and we move the ball for a total of 15 yds. Amazing drive like i said i don't put the blame on Rodgers this is all on Mike McCarthy's head, but there is no way in hell going to say that rodgers drove us into fg range when we started in it.

"dhazer" wrote:

No it wasn't a great drive, but it was a great play and money in the bank.. it was third down and we were facing a 51 yard field goal in the wind..

That play, when the team absolutely needed was what I haven't seen yet from him.. he delivered.. want to dice the coaches calls up and place blame everywhere but the interior of the FG blocking unit.. go for it.. we had that game delivered from a solid range..

Am I pissed at this team.. I repeat Team.. yes I am.. but that throw answered a question I have asked.. about the only positive I saw in the game last night.

Tonight will be a major step for Aaron and how he will be judged on his first year by Packer Fans.

Chico has had to break off many tags that have been put on him by some Packer Fans as he has endured his first year behind center.

1. He is a light weight, made of glass, and will never go through a season without missing games due to injuries.

This was flying around Green Bay all off season. Ever since he broke a bone in his foot in Dallas, then was injured again, and especially when he first injured his shoulder this year.

I think he has ripped off that tag.

2. He has no leadership qualities.

This crap started after he called out the O line in a game a few years ago, then made the famous comment about the fans getting on board.

I think he has ripped off the NO Leadership Tag.

3. He does not have the arm strength of the former Q.B.

I read that so many times, my God people are silly.

I know he ripped that arm strength tag.

4. He's from Chico California, the kid will never be able to play in the cold.

He already has, and played well.

BUT TONIGHT...

I pray he will play great in the cold again- IN CHICAGO and blow them away by 38 points.... I will gladly wait til next year for him to pull off the 5th tag...

YOU KNOW... The Game Winning Drive with less than 2 minutes left.

Tonight is going to put a cap on a great year for the Kid From Chico.

The future of this kid is racing along faster than he can pull off the tags that some Packer Fans have labeled him with.

Good post, RP.

1. Proven wrong. :)

2. Not his fault that our D keeps blowing leads.

3. Proven wrong. :)

4. Well, people who think this don't know Chico. We were a 10 minute drive from snow and Chico winters are a heck of a lot more harsh than SF Bay Area winters. It's because the rain is fierce. You cannot own an umbrella for an entire winter in Chico. Chico rips umbrellas to shreds. You will see a lot of broken umbrellas in the downtown garbage cans in Chico.

It occasionally snows as well, but not often.

Let me tell you about Chico storms.

Last winter (January 2008), we had a storm so fierce it took down a 30-year-old tree with deep roots and it fell on the neighbor's house. This was a completely healthy tree too. Two winters before, the creek flooded and the houses immediately by the creek had flood damage. We were far enough away that we got secondary effects - a rat infestation. Not fun.

Chico's not exactly a town for lightweights. Summers extremely hot, winters not really cold, but storms can be brutal.

EDIT: Wanted to add - for those of you who ski/snowboard, Chico's only 45 minutes from the slopes. 🙂

Because you don't "toss up" a ball when you're on the 18-yard line. There's nowhere to "toss it up" to. Your inability to differentiate between a desperation 80-yard drive with less than 2:00 on the clock and a 35-yard drive that started with over 3:00 on the clock is mind-numbing.

Aren't you supposed to never just "toss up" a ball, but make a completion if you are a QB?

It really shouldn't matter where you are on the field, imo.

Look at the Facts Longtime. If i wanted to put any blame on Rodgers i would be pointing out scoring a whooping 3 pts in the 2nd half but i'm not. I put all the blame on Mike McCarthy for not letting the kid loose.

beast (3-Apr) : Using Patterson as RB and RB/WR tweener... so I think they also signed Patterson as a 3rd down RB, not just a kick returner as articles are
