Finley definately has high jerk potential. He came out of college at least one year too soon. Most of his advisors told him to stay another yr but he did not listen. He just knew that he was soo good that NFL teams would throw a truck load of money at his feet.
All during the season he has pouted that GB has not used his talents to the best of his abilities.
When he did get the ball thrown to him he would drop the pass and then said it wasn't thrown to him correctly.
Seems to me it will take at least 5 yrs for this kid to figure things out but it may be too late by then.

Less on the younger player on a play that had many hiccups and more of coaching and leadership coming onto a field, after a timeout and not being ready to go.. then as a QB, with 2 timeouts in your pocket and not much time remaining in the half.. you call one and get another play into the mix.

Coaching and leadership.

We have crossed the threshold from being hideous to being pathetic.

The announcers mentioned a "communication breakdown"; I don't remember them discussing a headset failure specifically.

We have injury timeouts. When we have equipment breakdowns, shouldn't we have timeouts for those too?

That would open up a whole can of worms. Teams would fake equipment failures to get a free timeout, then they would say, "Well gosh, it's working fine now, but it wasn't working a minute ago."

About time Mike McCarthy did some serious ass kicking with this team.
So far the soft and easy approach hasn't worked re: training camp!

The league mandates the equipment though. It should be incumbent upon the league to ensure that the teams have the chance to have operative equipment during the game.

If an NFL technician found the equipment to be in working order, teams could be penalized one of their three timeouts, a challenge, or cash, depending on how egregious the infraction was.

By your logic, teams might fake injuries to give themselves free timeouts. While that may indeed happen, I don't think we should make the rules with that assumption.

I did hear it was a headset breakdown.
What i don't get is this.......in that situation, why the heck didn't we call a timeout????
Your a few yards from a TD, and it's OBVIOUS the play is screwed up, USE A TIMEOUT!!!
