It was a bit overlooked last game that the Giants defense has been improving steadily throughout the season especially against the run. The same cannot be said for the Vikings. It is time for us to win our match-ups and win the damn game.

Lose it, and I think it ends any playoff hopes. Being 5-6 means any hope of making the playoffs will require winning out, and HOPING to get some help. Win, and at least we survive another week, and hopefully Aaron Rodgers can come back for thanksgiving.
To me, that's the only chance we have to beat Detroit, is if Aaron Rodgers is behind center. It will be a shootout with the Lions offense against our pourous D.

"The Packers actually had more cornerbacks (Shields, Casey Hayward, Micah Hyde and James Nixon) sit out of practice on Friday than actually participated (Tramon Williams, Davon House and Jarrett Bush), but Hyde is probable to play through a groin injury."

Our season in a nutshell. Our pass rush needs to be extra effective on Sunday with our back end situation being what it is.

This is it. Our seasonn is on the line. We must win this. Lose and we can forget any thoughts of playoffs.

I lean that way myself Flep. It ain't over 'til it is over and anything can happen; all those chiches, but I agree, this is a must win game, if anything else, to stay within a game of the Lions, and above all else, to start stacking successes rather than failures.

I think the Pack can pull through and win this one. Even with the huge list of injuries, they are still at least as good as the Vikes.

I think Tolzien will have a good day. Now is his time to shine - and I always look forward to young players showing up and exceeding expectations.

Packers win 24-17

I have absolutely no faith in our defense even vs the Vikings. If GB picks up a win today it'll be ugly.

It's gonna be strike team football, no doubt about that.

Hopefully Mike will unleash Tolzien.

Hopefully the D will focus on stuffing Peterson and force Ponder to throw.

We gotta believe, Guys. Packers must win this game or else they will be hanging over a cliff. At home, against the Vikings, in cold weather could be the perfect antidote to our woes. Tolzien should have enough experience by now to open up the playbook and let him go. Kick ass and give them new names.

Go Packers!

The Vikes will come out swinging like this is their Superbowl. Because it is.

But we can make them give up by crushing them early in the cold.
