all the news on facebook lately is they finally made it back to the IPO and they have finally turned the corner on matching the new mobile trend. All the projections have facebook going nowhere but UP. Also congrats on the 500 likes. Sorry I wasn't able to contribute more to that.

We're not all that mobile though. I'm trying to figure out TapaTalk API, but its going to take someone much smarter than me to figure out how to utilize that.

I'm hoping to get the site moved to MVC which has some really nifty mobile user agent tools, but still that won't help with the forum until tapatalk or something similar comes out.

What do you mean by sorry not able to contribute?

Did someone say facebook would die?

That is a no. The reason is: photos. Many Kids and Adults alike who are strong participants on facebook have so many photos, so many memories noted, ect that getting rid of facebook would rid of that timeline. Facebook kind of has the community by the foot. Unless your facebook data can be imported to a different website, it won't die for a long time.

It has slowed down with the under 25 crowd. Many kids are mortified that their parents have access tot he same site they hang out in. Many parents are mortified by what their "good kids" post.

I am sure it will remain viable for us old duffers but like always the kids have to find the newest thing in order to be happy.

Die or downward spiral? I said the latter. If MySpace is still alive, I do not see how Facebook would die.

Facebook has lost its "hip" feeling with the youths. Things like SnapChat, Instragam and whatever else have taken its place. BUT Facebook is a money machine because of the advertisements.

Meanwhile, the PackersHome facebook page is doing okay.
